01 Product Overview
The Zhuniu PVC Plastic I-Beam is a lightweight, high-strength formwork support beam designed as a direct replacement for traditional timber walings, timber studs and wooden H-beams in cast-in-place concrete construction.
Extruded from industrial-grade engineering PVC, its I-section profile - wide load-bearing flanges top and bottom, joined by a thinner central web - delivers excellent bending and compressive strength while keeping self-weight to a minimum. It pairs directly with plastic formwork panels, plywood or steel formwork for walls, columns, slabs and beam sides.
Unlike timber, it does not warp, rot, absorb water or split. It holds its dimensional stability across 50 to 80 reuses, and every off-cut at the end of its service life is fully recyclable.
